March Meetup 3/9
On the first Tuesday of each month, the chapter meets to discuss ways to provide service and support to the community and encourage leadership training and self improvement for its members.
The March General Meeting will be at the Tracy Gee Community Center. (3599 Westcenter Drive Houston, TX 77042) at 6:45 pm. Topics for the March meeting include guest speaker Jeannie Bollinger, Bear Hugs for Haiti, March Convention and more! Afterwards, attendees are encouraged to grab a bite to eat with fellow Junior Chamber members at The Bar Next Store [Map]
Bear Hugs for Haiti“, a teddy bear donation drive benefiting I Am Change, an organization dedicated towards providing clean water and care for orphans worldwide will continue thru Friday, March 12. Members and their guests are encouraged to donate a new or gently loved teddy bear or stuffed animal during the upcoming meeting or any one of the eight teddy bear drop-off sites located throughout Westchase and the greater Houston area. The Texas 2009 Year End Convention in San Antonio will be March 5-7. During the convention, many of our chapter officers and members will compete in categories such as debate, interview and impromptou speech. In addition, workshops and professional development will be offered to convention attendees. For those who are unable to make it to the March Convention, the chapter will provide an overview of convention happenings during the general meeting in April.

2. Bring business cards.
3. Make friends and meet people.
4. Invite your friends and family.
